In-person attendees: register early
NASA Ames is a federal site with advance access requirements. Completing registration early, especially for foreign nationals, ensures there is enough time to process site access. International registration closes September 8, 2026; domestic registration closes October 7, 2026.

Getting here & access

Getting to NASA Ames

NASA Ames Research Center is located at Moffett Field in California's Silicon Valley, roughly midway between San Francisco (SFO) and San José (SJC) international airports. Detailed driving directions, the visitor gate, and public-transit options will be posted here closer to the event.

Site access & badging

NASA Ames is a federal facility. In-person attendees must complete visitor registration in advance, and foreign nationals may require additional lead time for access approval. Registration collects the information needed to sponsor your visit, so please register early.

Parking

On-site visitor parking will be available near the meeting venue. Specific lots, accessibility parking, and any shuttle arrangements will be detailed here before the workshop.

Where to stay & dining

Lodging

A range of hotels is available in nearby Mountain View, Sunnyvale, and Santa Clara. We will share a suggested list, along with any negotiated room blocks, as arrangements are confirmed.

Food & the area

Information on on-site refreshments and nearby dining in downtown Mountain View and the surrounding area will be provided. Coffee breaks and details on any group meals will be noted in the program.

Joining virtually

Virtual attendance

Remote participants will join via a virtual platform with live-streamed sessions and Q&A. Connection details and a virtual-attendee guide will be sent to registered participants ahead of the workshop.
